Abstract:

This book offers the first comprehensive description of the prosody of nine
Romance languages that takes into account internal dialectal variation. The
analyses all use the Autosegmental Metrical framework of intonational
phonology and the ToBI transcription system, and have been carried out by
groups of well-known experts in the field.
