Subject: Studies in Second Language Acquisition Special Issue (June 2017): Call for Proposals

Studies in Second Language Acquisition (SSLA) is now entertaining proposals for the thematic issue of volume 39, to be published in June 2017. Thematic issues of SSLA focus on areas of current interest and are an excellent venue
to bring together in one issue numerous approaches to a problem or methodology in the field of SLA. For examples, see previous June issues of SSLA. A proposal should include a detailed rationale for the thematic issue and
abstracts (250-400 words) from the authors of the manuscripts.

Closing date for proposal submissions has been set as September 14, 2015; please submit proposals to ssla at msu.edu.

Important Dates for Considerations:

September 14, 2015 - Proposals due in SSLA office
October 30, 2015 - Final decision reached
February 26, 2016 - Submission of first-draft manuscripts to SSLA via ScholarOne
September 29, 2016 - All final manuscripts due, submitted via ScholarOne

Please feel free to distribute this announcement to interested colleagues. If any other questions arise, please feel free to contact us at ssla at msu.edu.
