Faculty of Philology, University of Łódź is organizing an international and interdisciplinary conference

SPECLANG 2016
Languages for Specific Purposes. 
Education and Career Opportunities
Lodz, 4-5 March 2016

The conference aims to explore a broad range of issues devoted to LSPs (Languages for Specific/Special Purposes) such as (the list is not exhaustive) LSP teaching and training, esp. LSPs and academic curricula, LSPs and current job market requirements and needs, Multilingualism and Language policies, relations between academia and industry, technical/specialized translation, corporate identity and corporate discourse, etc.

Conference languages are English, German and Polish.

Call for Papers:

We invite individual submissions for 30-minute presentations (allowing 10 minutes for questions). Abstracts of up to 300 words should be sent (using the registration form available from the conference website) not later than 31 December 2015.
