Meeting Description:

We are pleased to announce the inaugural Doctoral Student Conference on Conversation Analysis to take place at Monash University, Melbourne, on February 18 and 19, 2016.

Keynote speakers include Rod Gardner (Associate professor, University of Queensland, Australia), John Hellermann (Associate professor, Portland State University) and John Heritage (Professor, University of California, Los Angeles) who will be delivering their keynotes virtually, and Anna Filipi (Senior lecturer, Monash University).

Opening Keynote:

Virtual Keynotes:

- John Hellermann, Associate Professor Department of Applied Linguistics, Portland State University

- John Heritage, Professor Sociology Department, University of California, Los Angeles

Call for Papers:

The call for presentation proposals for the inaugural Doctoral Student Conference on Conversation Analysis is now open. The conference secretariat invites all doctoral students (including recently submitted doctoral students) who are conducting research on Conversation Analysis to submit an abstract.

The Conference will take place in the Education Building, 29 Ancora Imparo Way, Clayton Campus, Monash University, Melbourne on 18-19 February, 2016. 

Abstracts for presentation should be a maximum of 250 words and submitted by Friday, 30 October, 2015, 5 pm, AEST.

Notification of Acceptance: 16 November, 2015

Presentation: 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for Q&A.
