Subject: Obituary: Roy Harris (1931-2015)

 
Professor Roy Harris, Emeritus Professor of General Linguistics in the
University of Oxford and Honorary Fellow of St Edmund Hall passed away on 9th
February 2015, in Oxford.

Professor Harris was the first holder of the Chair of General Linguistics at
the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology & Phonetics in the University of Oxford
(1978-1988).
