Description:

Candidate’s profile

- Candidates are required to hold a PhD in the domain of language technology
or a degree recognized as equivalent (the degree requirements have to be
fulfilled at the time of appointment);
- Candidates are required to have research experience in the field of language
technology proven by authorship on publications in peer-reviewed international
journals and proceedings of leading conferences such as ACL, EAMT, etc., which
rely on experts for the evaluation of submitted articles;
- Candidates are required to have academic teaching experience in the domain
of language and translation technology;
- Candidates are required to have experience in organising and/or
participating in international competitions in the domain of language
technology; 
- Candidates are required to have experience as referees (articles, projects).

Job description

- Perform advanced and productive research in the domain of language
technology;
- Carry out a teaching assignment in the language technology section;
- Help write research project proposals and coach PhD students;
- Supervise bachelor papers and master theses.
