Focus: This summer school will bring together historians, practitioners of the language sciences, philosophers, psycholinguists and psychologists in order to facilitate the mutual transmission of expertise and to promote discussion of the connections between theoretical representations of the mind and representations of language and languages. It is the fifth such school organised by UMR 7597.

Description:
The thematic summer school on “Representations of Language and Representations of the Mind: History and Epistemology” is organised by the History of Linguistic Theories laboratory (HTL, UMR7597), the Fondements Empiriques de la Linguistique (EFL, SPC), Labex and the Formal Structures of Language Laboratory (SFL, UMR 7023), with the support of Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Université Paris-Diderot and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.

Tuition: 300 EUR

Tuition Explanation: 
Registration fees are fixed at:

- 150 EUR for students (This amount may be supported partially or fully by your graduate school or research team; do not hesitate to ask them.)
- 300 EUR for the other participants
- The CNRS agents are exempt from registration fees. Their transportation expenses are supported by their manager delegation under continuing education.

In case of cancellation after 27 June, the registration fee will not be refunded. 

Registration fees include accommodation for six nights (30 August to 5 September, evening until morning), lunches (five meals) and dinner (six meals). Drinks are not included. 

The transport costs are the responsibility of the participants.
