The Hunter Undergraduate Linguistics Association (HULA) is proud to announce
the 5th Annual Hunter Undergraduate Linguistics and Language Studies
Conference (HULLS5) to take place on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2.


2nd Call for Papers:

HULLS 5 is set to take place on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, 2015. The Hunter College Linguistics Association welcomes abstracts of original research from all areas of linguistics and language studies. Submissions will be accepted from undergraduate students currently enrolled in a degree-granting institution or recent graduates.Talks will be allotted 15 minutes with a 5-minute question/discussion period.

Abstracts are limited to 300 words. An abstract should clearly present a thesis, a clear description of the topic, methods, and conclusions. For any questions regarding abstracts, please email us at hc.linguisticsclub at gmail.com.

Abstracts should be sent to hc.linguisticsclub at gmail.com by midnight on Wednesday, March 25. The abstract should be sent as both text in the body of the email as well as a .pdf attachment. The attached file should not contain the name(s) of the author(s). In addition, the following information should be included in the body of the message:

- Paper title
- Author(s)
- Affiliation
- Email address of each author
