Call Deadline: 30-Apr-2015

Meeting Description:

In the 21st century, studies in the field of linguistics, literature and culture are not always carried out in isolation from other domains; they often cross traditional boundaries and interrelate with other disciplines due to the emergence of new needs. Indeed, interdisciplinarity and hybridity is fast becoming the rule rather than the exception and it is not surprising to find research involving several disciplines with mutually beneficial results and practical implications for various professional fields. Furthermore, the third edition of CILLEC aims to cover issues related to the role of language, literature and culture in several institutional, social and intercultural contexts. In the light of this scenario and following the success of the conferences held in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014, we are pleased to announce the third edition of the International Conference of Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies (CILLEC) entitled “Challenges and Possibilities for Language, Literatu
re, and Culture in a Globalised World” to be held at the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) on 10th and 11 September 2015.
