Subject: New Editor at Written Language & Literacy

 John Benjamins Publishing is pleased to announce that, as of volume 18:2, Beatrice Primus (University of Cologne, Germany) will become General Editor of the journal Written Language & Literacy.

Former editor Martin Neef will remain on the Advisory Board.

Other editors remain in place:
- Review Editor: Susanne R. Borgwaldt (Braunschweig Institute of Technology, Germany)
- Associate Editors: Dorit Ravid (Tel Aviv University, Israël) and Ludo Verhoeven (Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands)

Written Language and Literacy is concerned with linguistic, psycholinguistic, educational, and sociolinguistic accounts of the structure and functions of written language, the processes and acquisition of reading and writing, and
the use and development of literacy in different social and cultural settings. The journal focuses on scientific reports in areas such as theoretical linguistics and cognitive models of written language processes, reading and
writing in educational contexts and in literacy campaigns, literacy and technology, and literacy as a marker relating to gender, ethnicity, and class.
