Call Deadline: 01-Jun-2015

Meeting Description:

In this workshop we aim to bring together researchers working on the
acquisition of clausal and verbal subordination in typologically diverse
languages to discuss theoretical and empirical issues in the acquisition of
subordinate structures. The relevant phenomena include, but are not limited
to, verbal complementation, infinitive phrases, finite complement clauses,
relative clauses, adverbial clauses and hybrid constructions, such as
pseudo-coordination.

Call for Papers:

We welcome papers that address these and related issues in Second or Foreign language acquisition. We especially invite PhD students and Post-Docs working in the field to send in contributions to the workshop. This may also include work in progress or research plans.

Submissions should include a title and an abstract (300 words maximum, excluding references). The language of the workshop is English.

Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously and will be evaluated in terms of the overall quality and relevance to the topic of the workshop. Each paper will be allocated 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion.

Abstracts should be submitted electronically via easyabs: http://linguistlist.org/easyabs/AVCS2015

Important Dates:

The deadline for submission is June 1, 2015.
