Two Assistant Professors are required in the Centre for Applied Linguistics.
You will contribute to the Centre’s undergraduate and postgraduate degree
programmes (BA Language, Culture & Communication; BA Linguistics with Modern
Languages; MA English Language Teaching; MSc Intercultural Communication; PhD)
and actively engage with the Centre’s Research Groups. 

You will be an ambitious academic, with expertise in two or more of the
following areas: pragmatics, sociolinguistics, qualitative research methods,
quantitative research methods, linguistics. You will have a PhD in (Applied)
Linguistics or closely related field. You will have an excellent record of
recent, high quality publications in top-rated journals and successful
experience of teaching at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
