University Specialist Diploma in Scientific-Technical Translation (English-Spanish)

The goal of this diploma program from the Complutense University of Madrid recognized degree is to train professional translators in the most in-demand areas of scientific and technical translation: biomedical texts, information and communication technologies, environmental science, and website and software localization. In addition to practical training in these fields, the program also offers related courses like documentation, terminology, and technology applied to translation, without forgetting other professional aspects like management. Thus, we work with professionals and academics with extensive experience, backed by the prestige of the Instituto Universitario de
Lenguas Modernas y Traductores at the Complutense University (IULMyT).

The program is directed both at people with university training in linguistics that would like to specialize in the field of scientific-technical translation as well as those who have science degrees with ample knowledge of English and
interest in the field of translation.

Total number of hours: 300 classroom hours (October-May).

Class schedule: Monday to Thursday, from 18:00 to 21:30. This schedule is specifically designed for those who would like to balance their studies with their work schedule.

Tuition: 2,900 EUR

Pre-registration period is open as of May 2, 2015.
