We are inviting participants for the workshop ''Projection in Discourse: from formal to data-driven approaches,'' held on Friday November 27 at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, on the occasion of Noortje Venhuizen’s PhD defense.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together current theoretical and empirical analyses of the behaviour of different types of projection phenomena, and their relation to other aspects of meaning. Besides several invited talks, the workshop will include a ''data-driven'' session, in which the participants are invited to collaborate on the analysis of real-life linguistic examples.

Attending the workshop is free, but we kindly ask you to register before Friday, November 20, via the registration form on the website: https://sites.google.com/site/projectionindiscourse/workshop#registration
