Meeting Description:

Every spring, the Linguistics Graduate Student Association at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill puts on its annual Spring Colloquium. We invite fellow linguists from all over to present and discuss current topics of interest in the field in an all-day conference. This coming spring it will take place on March 5, with Joe Pater as our keynote speaker.

Call for Abstracts:

The Linguistics Department at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is now accepting abstracts for their 2016 Spring Colloquium. The conference will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 with Joe Pater as keynote speaker. Papers are invited on any topic in Theoretical Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. Presentations will be 20 minutes long (in English) followed by a 10-minute discussion period.

Abstract Guidelines:

Please send your abstract as a PDF attachment. Abstracts should be no longer than one page in 12-point font, with an optional second page for examples, figures, tables, or references. 

Please do not include any author information in your abstract, but provide the following information in the body of your message:

- Title of paper
- Author's name(s) and affiliations(s) 
- Email address
- Mailing address and phone number

Please send your abstract as an attachment in your email message to: LingColloquium at unc.edu.

Deadline for submission will be Friday, January 8, 2016.
