Meeting Description:

The 32nd annual graduate-run Northwest Linguistics Conference (NWLC) is an opportunity for exchange of ideas and new research in all subfields of linguistics. It is hosted in turns by the University of Washington, the University of British Columbia, the University of Victoria, and Simon Fraser University.

Call for Abstracts:

The Linguistics Society of the University of Washington is pleased to open abstract submissions for the 32nd annual Northwest Linguistics Conference, which will be held April 23-24 2016 at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Abstracts for work from any area of linguistics are welcomed. The conference will include both talks (20 minutes with a 10 minute Q&A session) and a poster session. Following the conference, participants will be given the opportunity to submit short papers to the proceedings, which will be published as a special edition of the UW Working Papers in Linguistics.
