Subject: Native speakers of Japanese needed

 
The Language and Thought lab needs Japanese-English bilinguals and Japanese monolinguals to participate in an online language study. 

Japanese-English bilinguals:

The study will consist of two parts and will take no more than 90 minutes total. The two parts will be completed one week apart. Copy and paste the following link into your browser to complete the first part of the study: https://lehigh.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_9RlYWTss6Xj3NSl . The second part will be emailed to you one week after you complete the first part. Participants who complete both parts of the study will receive a $15 Amazon gift card via email for compensation. Please note that for the purpose of comparison to previous research, all participants must be between ages 18 and 39.

If you know Japanese monolinguals:

Japanese monolinguals may have had some experience with English, but they must not have lived in an English-speaking country, must not use English to speak on a regular basis, and must consider themselves very low proficiency in English to be eligible. Participants should also be between the ages of 18 and 39. Japanese monolingual participants will be asked to complete only one session that will take no more than 30 minutes total and will receive a $5 Amazon (Japan) gift card via email after completion.
