Job assignments 

The posted position mainly comprises teaching and supervision at undergraduate and master's levels, in, for instance, independent courses, teacher education, and other university programs. Research activities may also be required to some extent. The candidate is expected to contribute to departmental activities.

Eligibility

The qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance.

Assessment

In assessment of an applicant’s qualifications, equal attention will be given to teaching skills and scholarly proficiency in the relevant subject area. In the selection process, attention will also be given to documented qualifications within the following areas:

- Teaching qualifications, including ability to teach in both Swedish and English;
- Background in teacher training and/or courses focusing on learning as well as in proficiency instruction;
- Ability to lead and administer teaching activities (background as a course director/coordinator).

Additional Information

The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate extensive physical presence at the Department as well as regular participation in its work.
