Position Description:

Burlington English is seeking native English speakers to teach English language to language learners of varying ages (typically teenage to adult) via a virtual classroom (webinar environment).

Please submit your application if you:

- Are a native speaker of English (Standard American English preferred)
- Possess at least two years’ teaching experience
- Have at least one year of experience teaching in a virtual environment (Skype or webinar)
- Are a dynamic presenter with patience and a trust-inspiring attitude
- Are computer savvy (able to troubleshoot when needed)
- Have a laptop or desktop with reliable high-speed Internet access
- Have a working web-cam
- Can broadcast course from a professional-looking, quiet environment (ex. a home office)
- Proficiency speaking Brazilian Portuguese is a plus
- Experience teaching adult learners is a plus
