Meeting Description:

This series of conferences that started back in 2004 with the aim of fostering a scientific meeting for the exchange of current research related to any of the areas that make up the Department, namely Spanish, English and French Language and Literature, as well as Didactics of Spanish Language and Literature. The conference will be arranged in thematic sessions and will consist of 20-minute paper presentations followed by a 10-minute discussion.

We are also pleased to announce that our keynote speakers have already confirmed their attendance to the conference:

- Alejandro García Reidy (Syracuse University)
- María José López-Couso (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela)
- Santiago U. Sánchez Jiménez (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid)

2nd Call for Papers:

Dear colleagues,

The Organising Committee of the 4th International Conference on Language and Literature would like to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission is 15 February, 2016. Proposals can be submitted through the online form at http://ivcongresolenguayliteratura.unican.es  or via e-mail to congresolinguisticayliteratura at unican.es including the following information:

- Name of author(s)
- Title of the presentation
- Abstract
- Affiliation
- Contact address
- Thematic lines

Regular presentations will last 30 minutes (20 minutes for presentation + 10 minutes for discussion). Time will also be allotted during the conference for poster presentations. If you are interested in sending a poster proposal, please specify it when submitting your abstract. 

Finally, we would like to announce that the conference account number will be soon available on the conference website, which is regularly updated with new information.
