Meeting Description:

We invite academics, students and community members who are interested in sharing their work and insights into policies and practices affecting migrant languages in New Zealand to this inaugural live-streamed Symposium.

A one day live-streamed symposium focusing on policies and practices affecting migrant languages in New Zealand.

Call for Papers:

Submit a 150-200 word abstract for an oral or poster presentation to una.cunningham at canterbury.ac.nz by 30 September 2015.

Please state your preference for either a poster or paper presentation.
Poster: One slide – 5 minutes and 5 minutes for questions.
Paper: 15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions.

The presentation of posters or papers can be either in person or via a pre-recorded presentation followed by a Q&A session. Work in progress and student work is welcome. Authors will be notified by 19 October. Those wishing to present digitally should produce a video file (mp4 or flv) and share it via a link to cloud storage. See below for helpful hints on producing digital presentations and posters.
