Conference theme: ‘Corpus Linguistics across Cultures’. 

Call for Papers:

We invite submission of abstracts for full papers, work-in-progress reports, software demonstrations, and posters on any topic related to the conference theme. 

Papers must be relevant to corpus-linguistic description, analysis and methodology. They must focus on the English language (from a diachronic and/or synchronic and/or comparative/contrastive perspective) and should present original concepts, data and/or methods.

Presentation Formats:

Full papers: 30 minutes, including 10 minutes discussion
Work-in-progress reports: 15 minutes, including 5 minutes discussion
Software demos: 30 minutes, including 10 minutes discussion
Posters: Presenters will briefly introduce their posters during a plenary session. Posters must be maximum A0 size (portrait).

Submission of Abstracts:

Abstracts should be between 400 and 500 words (excluding references) and should clearly state research questions, approach, method, data and (expected) results. Authors may submit a maximum of two abstracts if at least one paper is co-authored. 

Abstracts must be submitted via the EasyAbs online system  

Deadline for submission of abstracts: 1 November 2015. Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously; notifications of acceptance will be sent out beginning on 15 December 2015. Conference registration will open on 15 January 2016.

Pre-conference workshops will be held on the afternoon of 25 May 2016. If you would like to convene a workshop, send your proposed topic to ICAME37 at cuhk.edu.hk, by 1 October 2015. Workshop topics and speakers must be confirmed by 15 December 2015.
