Meeting Description:

Giornata di studio organizzata dall’Unità di Ricerca sui DSA del Centro Linguistico di Ateneo dell’Università di Pisa.

This one-day conference aims at bringing together prominent scholars investigating dyslexia in young adults from diverse perspectives, including linguistics, neurology, psychology, language acquisition and applied linguistics, with the aim of closing the gap between clinical and theoretical research and the practice of EFL teaching. The conference will be closed by a roundtable where the speakers, representatives of the national dyslexia assotiation and teachers, will discuss the question of whether and how theoretical research can shape language teaching so as to ensure that dyslexic students get the same opportunities as non-dyslexic students in the language classroom.
