Maltese Practical Language Courses/Germany

Focus: The Malta Centre offers two practical one week language courses in introductory Maltese in 2016. One course for beginners and one course for more advanced learners. The courses are aimed at everyone who wants to gain an insight into Maltese grammar and learn basic conversational Maltese (A1.1 and A1.2 in the Common European Reference Framework).
Minimum Education Level: Undergraduate


Special Qualifications:
The language of instruction is English.


Description:
Maltese is an Arabic language most closely related to Tunisian Arabic. In its
history, Maltese has been influenced by several languages, most notably by
Italian and English. Half of the vocabulary of Maltese consists of Romance
words and it is the only Arabic language written in Latin script.
