Description:

The School of Education, Culture and Communication at Mälardalen University is
seeking to further extend its research and teaching community, especially in
the field of English Studies and Education. Therefore we now seek to recruit a
Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor of English, with a profile in Linguistics,
Literature and/or Language Pedagogy, as well as a background and research
interest in English teaching and learning.

Among the new lecturer’s/professor’s responsibilities will be to assume an
active role in connection with (pedagogical) research, teaching in English
Studies and within the teacher training programmes, as well as thesis
supervision at undergraduate, postgraduate and possibly doctoral levels.

The successful applicant will further be expected to take an active role in
course development, and to engage in collaboration with private and/or public
sector bodies (e.g. primary and secondary schools) in the surrounding
community. The position also involves subject- and course-related
administrative responsibilities.
