Description:

We are searching for NLP research engineers to work on NLU, specializing in
Japanese or French, at senior or junior levels in our R&D group.

The job will consist of research and development in NLU, focused on adding to
and improving products used by millions of people all over the world.  These
products include systems for mobile phones, smart TVs, automobiles and others.
 As an NLP research engineer, you will form part of a large group of
researchers who collaborate across languages and products.

We are recruiting for our offices in either Aachen, Germany; Montreal, Canada;
or Cambridge, Massachusetts.  However, other arrangements will be considered
for exceptional candidates.

Nuance is a great place to be -- the company has language processing in its
DNA and it permeates every part of the company. 

Requirements:

- Native or near-native command (spoken and written) of Japanese or French
(any dialect)
- Working-level command of English
- Masters in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or related field (or
Bachelors with similar work experience)
- Knowledge of NLP and/or Machine Learning
- Programming ability
- Knowledge of additional natural languages a plus
