Description:

The duties include primarily teaching and research. The teaching in the
subject is at first-cycle, second-cycle and third-cycle level. Teaching will
also be required within the Department's programmes, particularly in the
Master in Communication. Much of the teaching in Linguistics and the Master in
Communication will be given in Swedish. Applicants are expected to contribute
to the full range of activities in the Department and other types of
assignments may also be included within this framework. The duties will
include examination in teaching at second-cycle level, for which a
qualification required for appointment as a docent is required at the Faculty
of Arts at the University of Gothenburg. (Criteria for a docent at the Faculty

The research is expected to be carried on in Linguistics and may very well be
linked to the overall themes of the subject (linguistic interaction) according
to the above. In their applications, applicants must therefore describe how
their own research can promote and deepen cooperation in this theme.
