Requirements:

- Native Brazilian Portuguese with BA or MA in linguistics
- Extensive knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese morphology, syntax and semantics
- Previous experience with data review and data annotation
- Familiarity with NLP tools and techniques

The tasks of a Junior Linguist include reviewing and annotating linguistic
data and carrying out a number of tasks to improve natural language processing
tools. This includes:

- Reviewing and annotating linguistic data
- Labeling text for semantic, syntactic and morphological characteristics
- Annotating lexicon entries according to guidelines
- Deriving NLP data for new and on-going projects

Type of work: Full time, remote work not possible
Start date: Immediately
Project duration: Until end of 2016
