Description:

The German Language Analyst will be responsible for providing language support
for the development of 24/7’s premier voice applications. This includes
performing transcription and tagging, reviewing data sources, writing prompts
and grammars, and running experiments to find areas for improvement, trends in
caller behavior, and to further understand the caller experience. 

The German Language Analyst will work with UI Designers, Speech Engineers and
Application Engineers to develop a methodology for extracting semantic
patterns from input text and tagging the data with suitable semantic tags. 
The Analyst will also develop conversational prompting and assist with writing
grammars.

In addition, the German Language Analyst will work under the guidance of
Speech Scientists to use cutting-edge analytical tools to conduct analyses of
existing applications and recommend steps to improve them.

The Analyst will create tagging guides, call flows, and analytical reports to
be presented to internal and external teams. The Analyst, working in concert
with the Application Designers, will manage analyses regarding presentation of
information, guidance, querying, playback, and cognitive load management.

Responsibilities

- Perform Transcriptions and Tagging of Application text and audio data
- Create prompts / UI call flows

- Analyze application data
- Create analytical reports of application performance
- Identify application performance problems 
- Make recommendations to resolve application performance problems
- Run analytical tools and conduct grammar tuning 
- Traveling internationally (e.g. Germany)

Requirements

- Fluency in German
- Master’s Degree in relevant major (Linguistics, Computer Science,
Engineering)
- Working knowledge of Excel and Unix
- Preferred 1 year as an Analyst in a related field or in a Computational
Linguistics role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - including Presentation
Skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- International travel is required
