Assistant Teaching Professor, Interpreting and Translation Studies - Chinese
(Mandarin) 

Starting July 2016. Three-year appointment with possibility of renewal. 

Ph.D. in Interpreting and Translation Studies, Applied Linguistics or other
relevant field. Professional experience as a translator/interpreter required.

The faculty member will teach six courses per year at the graduate level,
including supervising internships and students’ research projects, and
contribute to the curriculum development in our Interpreting and Translation
Studies program.

Applicants should have evidence of excellent teaching experience, active
scholarly publication, and a commitment to productive institutional service.
Some experience in curricular design is also desirable.

Chinese-English specialized translation course (e.g. Medical- Scientific or
