We are delighted to announce the new publications of Volume 17.1 and 17.2 of
Language and Linguistics. Starting from 2014, Language and Linguistics is
co-published by ILAS (Institute of Linguistics, Academia Sinica) and SAGE
Publications, Ltd (http://online.sagepub.com) in the United Kingdom and
distributed worldwide. Beginning January 2017 (Volume 18), Language and
Linguistics will be published in partnership with John Benjamins Publishing
Company in Netherlands. 

Language and Linguistics is a peer reviewed international journal indexed by
the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Arts & Humanities Citation Index
(A&HCI). The journal’s current Impact Factor is 0.239 (5-year: 0.252). Its
areas of interests include the languages of East Asia and the Pacific Region,
compassing (inter alia) Sino-Tibetan, Austronesian, Austroasiatic and Altaic. 

Language and Linguistics seeks to provide research that is professional,
insightful, and current and welcomes submissions in related areas of
linguistics.
