Meeting Description:

The Department of English at the Faculty of Education, Purkyně University
announces its seventh international conference for academics and practitioners
involved in educating teachers of foreign languages. 

CHALLENGES is an ongoing series of conferences organized by the English
Department at Purkyne University (UJEP). The main aim of the conference is to
share current views, new trends, innovative ideas and experience in foreign
language teaching and teacher education.

The plenary talk will be held by an internationally renowned researcher.
Further, we encourage submissions from graduate students whose research and
practice fall broadly under the cover terms of ELT, TESL/TEFL, and applied
linguistics as well as cultural and literary studies.

A selection of accepted papers will be published in our series of ELT volumes
by an international publishing house.


Call for Papers:

We welcome proposals for talks (20 minutes), workshops (up to 60 minutes) and
posters, relevant to the fields of applied linguistics & education, ELT
methodology, cultural studies and literary studies.
