Description:

The University of Ulster is pleased to announce its funding competition for
PhD study starting in September 2016. Funding is available to applicants in
the area of Linguistics. This message is to advertise potential applicants who
would like to undertake postgraduate research in linguistics - please pass it
on.

The first step is to approach a potential supervisor/advisor in the area that
you would like to research. Feel free to contact us. We are listed on the

The University offers two types of fees and maintenance scholarships (DEL and
Vice Chancellor studentships) and projects in Linguistics are welcome. Due to
funding scheme dictates, the types of funding available are linked to an
applicant's country of residence:

1) DEL Doctoral Studentships, offering fees and maintenance for UK-based
students, and fees for EU-based students.
2) VCRS Doctoral Studentships, offering fees and maintenance for all students.

The deadline for applications is the 27th of February.
