Meeting Description:

The 10th Annual Free Linguistics Conference will be hosted by Bung Hatta
University in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia, 30 September – 1 October, 2016.
Pre-conference workshops will be offered on 29 September.

The Free Linguistics Conference was established in 2007 at the University of
Sydney. The mission of the Free Linguistics Conference is to provide an
accessible forum for people working in the area of language sciences to come
together and share their diverse perspectives, practices and research.

Presentations and workshops at the Free Linguistics Conference range across
various subjects in language studies, including (but not limited to) language
education, ELT, applied linguistics and linguistics, breaking down borders
between disciplines and sub-fields.

FLC Group’s mission is to provide an accessible forum for people working in
the area of language sciences to come together and share their diverse
perspectives, practices and research by avoiding staggering fees. There are
absolutely No FEES to register, attend or present at the Conference (note:
workshops and additional services like certificates, conference dinner attract
a nominal charge).


Call for Abstracts:

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Free Linguistics Conference,
2016. We will review all abstracts after the submission period closes (31 May)
and will notify you of the outcome of your submission in early July.
Registration for the conference will open in early July.

Topics: All areas of language sciences.

Abstract length: Approximately 250 words

Abstract submission: APA is preferred. Please submit your abstract through our
