Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics 

Studies in Linguistics quarterly publishes four times a year. The publishing
date of each issue is the end of January, April, July, and October
respectively. The submission due date for each issue is two month before each
publishing date.

Founded in 1994, the journal publishes original pieces of research in all
areas of language study. The journal welcomes scholarly articles about
scholarly articles about all branches of linguistics, including phonetics,
phonology, syntax, morphology, semantics, sociolinguistics,
discourse-pragmatics, language education, and etc. The scope of this journal
extends not only to work on Korean Linguistics but also English, French,
German, Chinese and Russian Linguistics in all of the subareas of linguistics.
Also, this includes general education, consisting of reading, writing,
listening and speaking. Book reviews, remarks on special occasions may be
included.

All manuscripts should be written in Korean or English. Contributors whose
native language is not Korean or English carefully checked by a native
speaker.

Any manuscript submitted to Studies in Linguistics must be original work, not
published or under review elsewhere. And contributors may submit the material
elsewhere while it is under peer-review in The Joongwon Linguistic Society of
Korea. 

All manuscripts submitted to Studies in Linguistics must include an abstract
(160-180 words) and key words (5-8 words) written in English. 

Authors submitting manuscripts for consideration must be submitted by online
submission system at http://submission.jwl.or.kr.
