Senior Teaching Fellow (Ref: STF/ELE/0716)
Department of English Language Education

The Department is now seeking qualified and highly dedicated person to assist
in teaching and support for teaching undergraduate and professional
development courses in English language pedagogy. The appointee is expected to
commence employment in January 2017. 

He/she will participate in activities related to teaching, research, project
supervision; conducting curriculum and programme development; knowledge
transfer to the community; and performing programme and course management.
Field work supervision will also be required.  

Applicants should have a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject discipline plus
a minimum of 8 years’ relevant post-qualification teaching experience. Proven
evidence of quality teaching and/or successful record of relevant professional
experience at primary/secondary and/or tertiary level is required. 
Significant contributions to in-school curriculum development and/or teacher
development, expertise in ELT methods, classroom discourse, e-learning and
academic writing will be an advantage. Applicants with less teaching
experience may be considered for the post of Teaching Fellow I.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.
