Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics

Call Deadline: 10-Dec-2016

The Revista de Estudos da Linguagem (RELIN) Editorial Team is happy to invite
you to submit your papers to our 2017 thematic issue on Experimental
Linguistics.

RELIN is a peer reviewed journal, dedicated to Linguistic Theory and
Description, based at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. RELIN is
ranked among the upper A1 classified journals by the Brazilian indexing agency
Qualis-CAPES.

Contemporary Linguistics has been positively impacted in virtually all areas
of specialization by the increasing possibility of applying experimental
methodologies and techniques in the study of language, combining descriptive
and theoretical interests with quantitative experimental and computational
approaches. In tune with this important trend in Linguistics, Revista de
Estudos da Linguagem (FALE/UFMG) launches a call for papers to be published in
its 2017 thematic issue on Experimental Linguistics (Guest Editor: Marcus
Maia, UFRJ), fostering scientific debate and progress in this area. Papers
using experimental methodologies in all areas of Linguistics are welcome to be
submitted through the journal webpage until 10 December, 2016:

The LINGUIST List is under the umbrella of Indiana University and
as such can receive donations through Indiana University Foundation. We
also collect donations via eLinguistics Foundation, a registered 501(c)
Non Profit organization with the federal tax number 45-4211155. Either
way, the donations can be offset against your federal and sometimes your
state tax return (U.S. tax payers only). For more information visit the
IRS Web-Site, or contact your financial advisor.

Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that
they will match any gift you make to a non-profit organization.
Normally this entails your contacting your human resources department
and sending us a form that the Indiana University Foundation fills in
and returns to your employer. This is generally a simple administrative
procedure that doubles the value of your gift to LINGUIST, without
costing you an extra penny. Please take a moment to check if
your company operates such a program.

Thank you very much for your support of LINGUIST!
