Description:

The English Department at the University of Indianapolis seeks candidates to
fill two Instructor positions. These are full-time, 10-month, non-tenure-track
positions, August 2016-June 2017, teaching 27 hours.

Responsibilities: The Instructor will teach as a University of Indianapolis
faculty in our partnership program in Shaoxing, People’s Republic of China,
UINDY International College at Zhejiang Yuexiu Foreign Language University.
Teaching duties will include courses in American literature, Advanced
Composition, practical English, Creative Writing, and rhetoric and
composition.

Qualifications: MA, MFA, or PhD in TESOL, Rhetoric and Composition, English
Literature, or related field required. Preference will be given to applicants
with international teaching experience. Some knowledge of Chinese helpful but
not required. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to teach in China before
hire can be finalized.
