Various low- and high-tech activities, including:

- Acquisition of lexicographic data on the least-documented languages
- Interpretation of those data to populate a panlingual lexical database
- Automation of parts of that interpretive process with text parsing
- Development of human interfaces to the database
- Quantitative analysis of the data
