CRLCC Conference on Language and Culture Contact - 18-20 November, 2016

The conference of the Centre for Research on Language and Culture Contact
(CRLCC) is a biannual international interdisciplinary forum for research on
topics related to language and culture contact and exchange. This inaugural
conference, which marks the tenth anniversary of the CRLCC, aims to bring
together scholars from within and beyond Canada to present on language-related
research.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s keynote speakers are: Mark Fettes,
Naomi Nagy, Ellen Elias-Bursać, and Raymond Mougeon. 


Call for Papers:

The Center for Research on Language and Culture Contact (CRLCC) invites
proposals for its upcoming conference, to be held - at Glendon College, York
University, in Toronto (Canada) on 18-20 November. We invite papers in the
Centre’s main research areas: language ecology and planning, language contact,
and translation and interpreting.

Proposals can be in English or in French and should be submitted by e-mail to:
CRLCConference at glendon.yorku.ca. 

Submission deadline: 22 April, 2016.
