Description:

The Department of Linguistics seeks applications for a full-time lecturer in
syntax. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2016.  The successful
candidate will be responsible for teaching syntax at all levels
(undergraduate, beginning graduate, and advanced graduate), and for sharing in
regular advising functions. Familiarity with experimental methods and/or an
ability to teach linguistic field methods are desirable. The position is for
one year.  

Basic Qualifications:  Doctorate in Linguistics or related discipline
ordinarily required by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications:  Demonstrated excellence in teaching is desired.
