The Department of Business Administration organises a two-day international
roundtable titled Community Interpreting in Greece (CiGreece).

The purpose of the two-day event is to discuss and to communicate the results
of the project Community Interpreting in Greece (CiGreece), funded under the
EEA grants scheme

So far the following invited experts have confirmed their participation:

Hanne Skaaden (Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences)
Foteini Apostolou (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki)
Anthi Wiedenmeyer (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki)
Leticia Santamaria Ciordia (University of Valladolid)
Pascal Riloff (President of the European Network for Public Service
Interpreting and Translation)
Leonardo Doria de Sousa (IMDI), Leticia Ciordia (University of Valladolid)
Richard Sciaba (Government authorized translator and interpreter in Norway,
Norwegian Association of Interpreters)


Call for Papers:

We invite proposals for papers by experts with expertise in the field of
community/public service interpreting who wish to participate by sharing their
expertise and would like to take part in the discussion on the results
produced by the CiGreece research team.

Only a limited number of external speakers can be accepted.  Please respond to
this call by 7 June by sending your abstract of about 300 words and a 200 word
long bio to the following address chita at teiep.gr.
