Linguistic Researcher – Paid Internship

About the Job

We are an investment manager in Manhattan with a strong quantitative research
team based in Manhattan.  We are looking to hire a driven graduate student who
is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the field of linguistics. We have
an immediate need to fill this position. This is a unique opportunity for a
graduate student to work in a corporate environment, with cutting edge
technology/research.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in linguistics.
Special attention will be given to applicants who have experience in
statistics, computational linguistics, text/corpus linguistics, and
quantitative semantic analysis. Salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience.

Attach current CV, 3 letters of recommendation, cover letter explaining prior
research focus. 

Roles and Responsibilities include:

- Create an annotated bibliography of linguistic literature
- Work as a key member in a dynamic team to complete the research project
