2nd Call for Papers:

Abstract submission:

Those who wish to participate in ICGL13 with a presentation are invited to
submit two copies of their abstracts (one anonymous and one signed) by 15
January 2017 to the following electronic address:
http://linguistlist.org/easyabs/ICGL13. On the abstract submission page, log
in to the submission system and start the submission process. An e-mail
confirmation of receipt of abstract will be sent to you immediately. Your text
should be 300 words maximum (including references, if any). Do not use any
special fonts, such as bold print or caps. Do not add tables, photos, or
diagrams to your abstract. Do not indent your paragraphs, leave one space
between paragraphs instead.

Each participant is entitled to submit only one (single or joint) abstract,
whether for an oral presentation to the main conference or for a workshop, or
whether for a poster presentation, either as a single author or as a
co-author. In exceptional circumstances a single and a joint abstract by the
same author might be allowed- please contact the Organising Committee for
further details. Papers may be presented either in Greek or in English and
should be 20 minutes long followed by a 10-minute discussion.

Notification of acceptance will be sent by 15 April 2017.

Thematic workshop proposals:

Researchers who wish to organize a workshop are welcome to submit a single A4
page proposal detailing its content. Workshops on all areas of the analysis of
Greek are welcome.

Potential workshop organisers might want to include details of all proposed
presentations as part of a workshop proposal; their proposal may be accepted
as a whole, but with no guarantee that each individual paper is automatically
accepted. The proposed papers will also have to be submitted individually to
the conference and then they can still be rejected, leaving the original
proposal with fewer constituents.

Workshops on all areas of analysis of Greek are welcome. Researchers wishing
to organize a workshop may submit a one page (A4) proposal detailing its
content. The proposal may include details of proposed presentations. However,
please note that all workshop presentations will be submitted for review to
the conference scientific committee and thus may be rejected even though the
workshop proposal has been accepted.

Workshops will run in parallel to the main conference sessions, covering 6
30-minute presentations each (i.e. 10:00 -13:00 or 14:00 -17:00 slots), so
that conference participants can chose whether to attend a workshop or a main
conference parallel presentation without feeling restricted. Workshops
conveners can opt to merge two 30-minute presentations for an 1 hour round
table discussion.

Workshops proposals should be written in Word (doc, .docx or .rtf format) and
sent by 13 November 2016 to the electronic address
icgl13 at my.westminster.ac.uk.

The following information should be included in the main body of the message:

1. Name(s)
2. Title of the thematic workshop
3. Affiliation

Notification of workshops proposals’ acceptance will be sent by 15 December
2016. Accepted workshops will be published on our website.
