Call Deadline: 01-Dec-2016

Meeting Description:

This is a message to inform you that an International Congress of Translation
Studies will be held in Paris next year (April 10-14 2017). A specific session
will be dedicated to corpora and the language of translation within a 'domain'
dedicated to the digital revolution in translation studies. You will find the
whole list of sessions (several of which deal with the use of corpora in
translation studies) on the congress website
(http://cmt.u-paris10.fr/cmt2016).

Do not hesitate to circulate the information.

Call for Papers:

If you are interested, you are invited to submit an abstract online for the
session on corpora and the language of translation (deadline: December 1).

Abstracts can be submitted on the conference webpage
(https://cmt.u-paris10.fr/submissions).

Abstracts should be 250 words in length. Alternatively, a longer abstract of
2,500 words can also be submitted but this is not compulsory.

The presentation for this workshop should deal with the use of corpora to
investigate the linguistic characteristics of translated language.

Notification of acceptance is expected to be sent out by the end of December
2016.
