Dear Linguist-List members,

Within the ESSENCE project (https://www.essence-network.com/) we are running a
computational challenge for which we need data. To help us acquire this data
we kindly ask you as English native speaker among the readers of this list to
play a game of Taboo of cities in the world online. We write to you as
linguists since we need people who are able to differentiate a proper from a
common noun in the game (proper noun as defined by the NLP tools we use, i.e.,
Stanford Named Entity Recognition tagger and NLTK NER Tagger).

Please send an e-mail to dgromann at iiia.csic.es with one of the following time
slots if you can spare 30 minutes to play Taboo online:

17 November 2016 17:00 to 17:30 CET
18 November 2016 16:00 to 16:30 CET
20 November 2016 19:00 to 19:30 CET
22 November 2016 19:00 to 19:30 CET
23 November 2016 10:00 to 10:30 CET

We would really appreciate anyone willing to join the game. Please feel free
to circulate this e-mail to other people who might be willing to play.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Kind regards,
Dagmar Gromann
