Description:

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Michigan invites
applications for a two-year position, beginning September 1, 2017. We seek
outstanding applicants who have a Ph.D. in Linguistics with a focus on
language processing. Candidates with expertise in language processing at the
level of the word or above are strongly encouraged to apply. The position,
partially endowed by the journal Language Learning, involves teaching two
courses per year and continuing an innovative research program.

A letter of application, a curriculum vitae, research and teaching statements,
one or more representative publications or other writings, evidence of
teaching excellence, and three letters of reference should be submitted. The
Linguistics Department and the University of Michigan recognize and value
