The call for workshop proposals is open, and has been extended to 15 Dec 2016:

Invitation to Submit Workshop Proposals:

The CIPL and ICL20 Local Organising Committee invite authors to submit
workshop proposals for the 20th International Congress of Linguists (ICL20).

Updated Deadlines:

13 January 2017: Deadline - Workshop Proposal Submissions
24 January 2017: Call for Abstracts
24 July 2017: Deadline - Abstract Submissions
31 October 2017: Notification of Acceptance

Workshop Proposal Guidelines:

We now call for proposals from potential workshop leaders.

Workshops will be single sessions running for a day, one-and-a-half days, or
two days.

Proposals should give a title of the workshop and an overview (abstract) of
300 to 500 words outlining its significance.

They will cover specialised research topics as opposed to the more general
paper sessions.

Successful proposers will be expected to play a facilitative role as convenors
of the workshop and will be involved in subsequent vetting and selection of
abstracts.

The call for abstracts for presentations within successful workshop proposals
(as vetted by the Scientific Committee) will follow in January 2017.

Notification of Acceptance:

Notification of acceptance of workshop proposals will go out by the middle of
January 2017.

The call for abstracts for presentations will occur in January 2017.
