The 4th International Conference on English Language and Anglophone
Literatures Today (ELALT 4) focuses on all aspects of English language
studies, anglophone literature and culture. We are addressing a wide range of
topics, including:

- Phonetics and Phonology
- Morphology
- Syntax
- Semantics, Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis
- Contrastive and Contact Linguistics
- Language Teaching and Language Acquisition
- Translation Studies
- Cultural Studies
- Literary History and Theory across Cultures
- Literary Genres
- Approaches to Literature
- Contemporary Writing
- Women’s Voices
- Literature and the Media
- Literature and Film
- Poetry Today

Languages: The official language of the conference is English

Conference Fee:

The full conference fee is 65 euros and 35 euros for PhD students. For
participants from Serbia, the full conference fee is 6500 RSD and 3500 RSD for
PhD students. The conference fee includes participation in all sessions of the
conference, the conference package (book of abstracts, conference programme,
map of Novi Sad, etc.), light refreshments during coffee breaks and lunch. All
participants are expected to pay their own travel and accommodation expenses.
In order to participate in the activities of ELALT 4, the authors of
single-authored papers must register for the conference; in case of
co-authored papers, all participating authors should register.

Call for Papers:

Submission Guidelines:

Abstract Format:

Abstracts should not exceed 400 words (exclusive of references) and should
clearly state research questions, approach, method, data and (expected)
results.

Abstracts should not mention the presenter(s) nor their affiliations or
addresses.

Only references mentioned in the text can be listed. Check the final abstract
carefully before submission. Abstracts will not be edited for typing,
spelling, or grammatical errors after submission.

Multiple Papers:

One person may submit a single-authored abstract or a single-authored abstract
and a co-authored one (not as first author). The number of authors of one
paper should not exceed three.

Presentation Slots:

30 minutes (20-minute presentation + 10-minute discussion)

Evaluation:

All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by two referees.

Important Dates:

The deadline for abstract submission is December 15, 2016. 
Notification of acceptance will be given by January 15, 2017.
