 Call for Chapters:

Nova Science Publishers’ (New York) edited Collection on Deception/Deceptive
Communication

Contributors are invited to submit abstracts (about 200 words) toward our new
publishing program by Nova Science Publishers, New York. We are interested in
new research or review article for an edited collection being assembled under
the title: ''Deception: Motivations, Recognition Techniques and Behavioral
Control''.

Topics being covered (though not limited to these) include:

- Defining deception, truth and lies
- Deception theories/models
- Ethical perspectives regarding deception
- Motivations for deceptive behaviors
- Cultural perspectives on lying and deception
- Non-verbal indicators of deception and lies
- Deceptive communication Online
- Deception in Relationships
- True and false Intentions
- Detecting deceptive behavior/improving deception detection  accuracy
- New techniques in lie detection and control

Kindly note the following important Dates:

Abstract Submissions: October 15th 2016 - January 20th 2017
Full Chapter Submissions: February 1 - April, 30th 2017

The contributions for this edited book are intended to range from 4,000 -
35,000 words (chapters over 10,000 words can be updated by the author for the
e-version of their chapter for a period of 2 years at intervals of 6 months,
12 months and 24 months after publication). If you are interested in
participating, please consult the Notes for Contributors below. Should your
schedule not allow a full contribution at this time, we would welcome either a
Commentary or Short Communication of 1,000 - 4,000 words. 

Publication will be about 6-9 months after the close of the volume. As soon as
a book is listed on our Web site (www.novapublishers.com), the codes in the
status field are changed to indicate the production stages through
publication.
